Michael Hedlund
Chief of Police
East Grand Forks Police Department

Chief Hedlund,

Please accept this complaint.

On August 23, 2011 I was struck by a motor vehicle driven by Rhonda Callahan, Manvel, North Dakota. The incident occurred following a school picnic at Riverside Christian School. Both my daughter and I immediately called 911.

Reference Case Number: 11002792

After Callahan backed into me, my daughter said, “I’m calling 911.” Callahan said “go ahead” and sped away.

When your officer’s arrived my daughter heard an officer describe the incident as “third degree assault”.

Following the incident I went to Altru and was diagnosed with “Contusion of Thigh”. The police report acknowledged the dirt mark on my pants lined up with the smudge on the rear bumper.

At some point it appears it was determined I was the HaLeigh Cummings book author (as it relates to all the police activity dating backwards to 2009).

Your officer (Boen) falsely stated in his report that I told him I was knocked to the ground by the vehicle, which I never said (thus making me look like a liar). Because he made this false statement, I was forced to file a complaint at that time just to correct it.

Callahan told Matthew J. Petrovich, guardian ad litem, 9th Minnesota District, during interviews conducted on behalf of the Court, and recorded in a GAL report, that she ‘moved me out of the way’ with the car.

Your Department filled their Reports with false and misleading statements regarding the obvious hit and run.

Despite Callahan admitting that she was present at the scene, struck me with a car, and exited the scene without waiting for police, she was not charged with any crime whatsoever.

It is against the law in the state of Minnesota to purposely strike somebody with an automobile and then leave the scene.

The attempts by your Department to hide this hit and run were/are certainly connected to your Department’s efforts to hide previous and ongoing acts of Misconduct regarding me and my journalistic work on regarding the missing child HaLeigh Cummings.

Police records contain the names of Rhonda Callahan, and her (then) husband Michael Callahan, which shows the Callahan’s were assisting an organized group working for Xentel, Inc., Florida.

Records show Lt. Rodney Hajicek was actively assisting Xentel, Inc. and making ominous telephone calls to me on their behalf.

Police and social service records show Rhonda Callahan was making false CPS reports against me, and Michael Callahan was sending documents to Art Harris, Busystreet Productions for purposes of cyber-stalking on the Web.
