Winston C. Mathis, Mathis Law Firm, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, has confirmed he contacted Timothy Charles Holmseth shortly after Holmseth published a story regarding Clinton Global and ongoing efforts by operatives to implicate Donald J. Trump.
"Yes, that was me, I was writing from my personal email address. I just wanted to see the attachments to your complaint because they were not on your website. I had thought I would try the Pacer document system next. I had asked for the exhibits to your complaint so I could get a better picture of what you were using to support your allegations. Mainly for my education as I have been layed up from a recent surgery," Mathis said.

Mathis has not responded.
